Our pastor
Pastor Tyler Walker
Pastor, New Hope United Methodist Church
Pastor Walker preaches and leads worship at New Hope every Sunday, and he walks with this congregation through the ordinary weeks and the hard ones. That is the pulpit on Sunday morning, but it is also hospital rooms, kitchen tables, graveside services, and wedding days.
He teaches the Wednesday night Bible study, works alongside the Sunday School teachers and the choir, and keeps the door open to anybody who wants to talk. Sixty years in the church or never set foot in one, it is the same door.
If you are thinking about coming for the first time and you are not sure, call him. He would rather you ask than wonder, and there is no wrong question.
