Sundays, 9:45 a.m.
Classes for children, youth, and adults that open the Bible together each week before worship. Classes are grouped by age, and anyone can join at any point in the year.
Ministries
Sunday morning is the start of it. The rest of the week is where it shows. In a church this size everybody ends up doing something, and there is room for whatever you have got.
To get into any of these, come on a Sunday and ask somebody, call the office at (843) 309-1832, or email support@newhopeumchuger.org. You do not have to be a member and you do not have to sign anything.
Youth Ministry
Middle and high school students
A place for young people to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve alongside the rest of the church. Youth take part in worship through the year and join the congregation in mission and outreach work.
Music and Choir
Sings at the 11:00 a.m. service
The choir and musicians who lead our congregation in song on Sunday mornings and at special services through the year. No audition is required. If you sing, there is a place for you.
Missions and Outreach
Serving Huger and beyond
Hands on service to neighbors in the Huger area, from food and clothing drives to helping families after a hard season. We also support the wider mission work of the South Carolina Annual Conference.
United Methodist Women
Meets monthly
Women of the church gathering for fellowship, study, and service to families in need. This group carries much of the hospitality and care ministry of New Hope, including meals for families in a hard stretch.
United Methodist Men
Meets monthly
Men of the church supporting one another in faith and serving the congregation and the community, from upkeep around the building to lending a hand wherever one is needed.

There is no sign up sheet and no waiting on an invitation. Come on a Sunday and mention it to whoever is standing closest, and they will walk you over to the right person before you get out the door.
